Arthur Alexanyan wins silver at Greco-Roman Championship
Armenia took five medals (one gold, two silver and two bronze) in the European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship in Dortmund, Germany.
Arthur Alexanyan (96kg) performed the best among the Armenian sportsmen. Alexanyan won all of his fights to reach the finals where he lost to Timofey Dzeinichenk of Belarus (0:1, 0:1).
Vahan Juharyan (60 kg) lost to Romania's Eusebiu Diaconu (0:1, 0:2) in his 1/8 final and dropped out of the competition. Arsen Julfalakyan (74kg) was beaten by Russia's Roman Vlasov in a fight for the third place.
