Cosmonaut arrived in Yerevan
Tomorrow the Russian delegation will have a meeting at the presidency of the RA National Academy of Sciences.
The meeting is devoted to the 50th anniversary of the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagari's flight to space. The delegation is led by cosmonaut Mikhail Tyurin, as reported by the information-analytical center of the RA National Academy of Sciences.
During the meeting, Armenian scientists' experience will be summed up and the directions for further cooperation for the appropriation of space will be discussed.
President of the National Academy of Sciences, academician Radik Martirosyan will present the experience of the Institute of Radio-Physics and Electronics in space investigation projects, while Director of the Academy's astrophysical observatory in Byurakan Hayk Harutyunyan will present the directions for solutions to the issue related to wastes of sputniks.
Vahe Grigoryan will share the experience of Armenian scientists in developing the Orion orbit system and academician Eurik Afrikyan will deliver a report on the appropriation of areas near microbe degrades and the globe during flights to space.
The anniversary sessions will end on April 12 at 11 a.m.
