This year will mark thirty years since 57-year old Emma Manyan has been working as driver of N 10 trolley.

"All drivers are the same for me, but Emma is different," says Yura Srapyan.

Emma's fellow drivers have been giving Emma flowers on the occasion of April 7.

When Emma was first hired as a driver thirty years ago, she didn't even see the difference between a tram and a trolley and simply said she wanted to work at a place where there was a steering wheel and tires.

Emma says if she had a chance to choose another profession, she would choose to be a driver again.

"Many girls say they won't work after getting married, but I can't do that. I wouldn't change the trolley with a husband. Besides, a trolley doesn't betray," says 57-year old Emma, who has 3 children and 7 grandchildren.

Her grandchild Vachik has been able to drive the trolley since the age of 12, but Emma is against seeing her grandchildren follow her example.

"I have faced many hardships and wouldn't like my grandchildren to have trouble."
