Vazgen Khachikyan’s issue remains unsolved
From now on, products prepared with condensed milk and milk powder will be clearly separated from pure dairy products.
This was the draft resolution presented by RA Deputy Minister of Agriculture Samvel Galstyan announced during today's government session. According to Galstyan, the dairy products prepared with condensed milk will be labeled.
"From now on, Armenian consumers will be able to know whether the product is prepared with condensed milk or milk powder," said Galstyan, adding that the names of types of milk will be labeled and will definitely receive an expert conclusion during import and consumption.
According to the deputy minister, there used to be control in this sphere, but the decision will regulate the situation in the market to a certain extent. After the government session, RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artur Grigoryan touched upon family subsidies and the misuse that has been registered during a press conference. He particularly touched upon the "Paros" program, which provides subsidies to several people in need.
"I will soon present an adequate analysis to the government on how many beneficiary families have not been receiving subsidies since November 2010 just because they didn't have the right to receive subsidies," announced Artur Grigoryan. According to him, those sums will be returned to the mentioned people and corresponding officials will be brought to justice. As for the misuse that remained unrevealed during the term of former head of the State Social Security Service Vazgen Khachikyan and bringing him to justice, the minister underlined that he couldn't say anything until the final inspections."
