Two mines detected near Armenian NPP
Two mines were found Sunday in a field near the village of Aknalich in Armavir marz, 800 km far from the Metsamor nuclear power plant.
On arriving on the scene, sappers moved the mines to a safer area for neutralization, reports the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.
Freight train hits 33-year-old man
A 33-year-old man was hospitalized Sunday after being hit by a freight train in the city of Vanadzor. Spartak Navasardyan suffered a shoulder fracture.
Doctors say Navasardyan's health condition is satisfactory.
