Villagers didn’t raise milk price
Ashtarak Milk has raised milk prices once again, and it will most likely explain that with the inflation of the milk provided. However, this is not the price of milk provided by villagers, but the return to the original price.
Alongside the milk inflation that started on August 15, the company has also raised the price of milk provided by villagers by 10 drams, meaning that the company will now pay 155 drams for milk instead of the previous 145 drams.
As resident of Tchambarak, Mamikon Simonyan told "A1+", the milk was given for 155 drams before summer. "They started paying 145 drams for a liter of milk without any explanation. When we asked why the price fell when there was no fall of milk or cheese prices, they told us that was the case whether we like it or not," he said.
Ashtarak Milk has raised prices of dairy products by 20-30 drams. Let us remind that Ashtarak Milk must submit explanations for the price changes to the RA State Commission on Protection of Economic Competition within three days.
