UN found sixth corner in Goris
The UN has opened a sixth corner at the Women's Resource Center NGO office to provide more information about the UN in Goris, Armenia.
"We have to combine our efforts with the local authorities and the UN's partners and become convinced that it will serve as an additional factor for increasing youth activity in the province," said President of the Women's Resource Center Ruzanna Torozyan.
UN Public Department Representative Maria Dotsenko mentioned that this was a very important day.
"We have a UN corner in Syunik province. Public support and participation are what make the UN the powerful and efficient organization that it is today. I am pleased to see that the residents of Syunik province will be given the chance to receive more information about the UN's activities," said Maria Dotsenko.
The UN's 6th corners are located in five other Armenian cities, including Artashat, Gyumri, Ijevan, Kapan and Hrazdan.
