Soldier dies
Support A1+!A soldier died after a car of the Ministry of Defense got into an accident in Armavir province.
Six of the temporary soldiers in the car received physical injuries of different degrees and were transferred to the local municipal hospital where temporary soldier, 21-year old Hayk A. Davtyan died. The other soldiers were transferred to the central clinic of the RA Ministry of Defense.
As senior officer of the department of public relations of the investigative service of the RA Ministry of Defense Mary Sargsyan told "A1+", the incident took place yesterday at around 18:00. According to him, the Satko car belonging to the N military unit of the RA Ministry of Defense, which was at the Baghramian Training Center, crashed into the soil on the left edge of the road, lost balance and curved off the road.
In relation to this, a criminal case has been instigated at the investigative department of the 4th station of the investigative service of the RA Ministry of Defense under Part 2, Article 377 of the RA Criminal Code (Violating Rules of Driving or Exploiting). Senior lieutenant Hamlet Virabyan has been arrested after being suspected of committing the crime prescribed by the mentioned article. The preliminary investigation of the criminal case is underway.
