October 5 celebrates Teacher's Day
October 5 marks the World Teachers' Day.
Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan has issued a statement congratulating Armenian teachers on the holiday.
"The professional holiday provides a wonderful opportunity to convey our best wishes to our pedagogues, evaluate their great contribution to the country's progress and express our profound gratitude to them. The role of a teacher is significant in the life of each individual.
The future of the country is entrusted to our teachers who shape the image of Armenia in the souls of our children. I am confident that knowledge and education are the most important prerequisites for progress and it is our teachers who convey this knowledge to our generations," said Karen Karapetyan wishing teachers effective and creative work.
