Emergency headquarters looking for truck drivers

The emergency headquarters charged with the investigation into the causes of a major landslide that hit Armenia's north on October 2, is looking for the drivers of trucks trapped in the disaster-affected area.

The headquarters asks everyone who possesses information about their whereabouts to contact the Crisis Management Center under the Ministry of Emergency Situations.( hotline telephones: 911, 010-52-96-90, 010-36-02-97, 060-44-02-38.)

Five people still remain missing after the Sunday's landslide on Vanadzor-Bagratashen highway, near Ayrum station in Armenia's Tavush marz. The landslide struck the 83rd kilometer of the highway, leaving 35 vehicles trapped underneath. Rescure works are continuing on the landslide area.
