Two more bodies recovered in Armenia landslide area
Another two bodies were found in the landslide-affected area in Armenia's Tavush marz at 5:00 p.m., October 12. The bodies were buried under a thick layer of earth and have not yet been identified.
Five people were declared missing as a result of a landslide that hit the 86th km of Vanadzor-Bagratashen highway, near the border with Georgia on October 2. After eight days of intense work, rescuers found on Monday the bodies of Armen and Mekhak Sorsumatyans in a Mercedes C car. The body of Norik Mirzoyan, a resident of Lchkadzor village, was found on Tuesday.
Earlier today, rescuers dragged out four tractors from a container that was trapped in the landslide site.
