Citizens on Serzh Sargsyan’s cadres
Citizens of Armenia don't think Serzh Sargsyan is making a structural reform by replacing Alik Sargsyan with Vladimir Gasparyan.
"They're the same. This doesn't mean that they are giving office because the person works well," Sargis Abrahamyan says.
"They're all part of the same team. This isn't a big change and I don't think there will be one," Andranik Hakobyan says.
"Time and history have shown that nothing changes no matter who is in office," Hasmik Khachikyan says.
Citizens who took part in the survey are sure that family or friendly ties lie at the core of the cadre changes.
Only one of the surveyed citizens was concerned about the appointment of Vladimir Gasparyan as Chief of Police since Gasparyan had pledged to look into the issues concerning the soldiers who died in the army in peace while he was Deputy Minister of Defense. The citizen says no official instills any hope.
"He didn't fulfill his promise, and the other won't either. I don't think that issue will be solved. I don't think anyone will be able to reveal the real culprits behind the murders taking place in the army," a troubled woman said. She wished to remain anonymous since her son would soon be recruited.
