Armenia to import heifers
The Armenian government has decided to allocate nearly 301 million drams to the RA Ministry of Agriculture for procuring heifers according to the RA 2007-2015 Goat Industry Development Project.
The progeny from imported heifers is used for replenishing herds of cattle, as well as perfecting the attributes of local cattle and meat, reports the government's press service.
