Serzh Sargsyan sponsors release of encyclopedia
The names of 1236 women from Armenia, Artsakh, Disapora have been included in a two-volume encyclopedia "Armenian women."
The encyclopedia contains information on famous Armenian women who worked in medicine, science, literature, art, sports, architecture and other areas.
The encyclopedia was released with the sponsorship of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and with the blessing of Catholicos Karegin II. The writer Zori Balayan is editor-in-chief of the encyclopedia.
The two-volume encyclopedia was published by the Amaras publishers.
