The Hackton [YAN] Yerevan 2011 contest of innovative ideas, projects and programming kicked off three hours ago.

The contest is being held at Yerevan Municipality and is organized by Microsoft Innovation Center in Armenia and the Public Journalism Club with support from Yerevan Municipality.

Hackton [YAN] Yerevan 2011 will last 24 hours and will end on December 18 at 13:00.

The first Hackton in Armenia will be devoted to issues facing Yerevan and will encourage citizens' participation in the solution to those issues.

"A1+" is broadcasting the contest live.
