Europe: people demand salaries
Belgian state officials have declared a workers' strike. They are discontent with the draft for pension reforms that set limits on their right to receiving pensions
early.
Belgian railway workers declared a workers' strike yesterday. As a result, millions of people living in the kingdom didn't get to work. According to "Rosia 24", people won't be able to leave from or arrive in Brussels.
"We weren't warned in advance. Of course, we understand those people, but we are passengers and are now hostage to the strikers. Do we have to walk to Brussels?" passengers complained.
French airport security officials haven't been working for a week due to their demand for higher salaries.
The workers' strike has led to long lines at Charles de Gaul International Airport.
French Minister of Transport Tieri Marian has already declared that if the workers' strike doesn't stop, police squadrons will head toward the airport and will be forced to replace the strikers.
