Attempted murder in Ashtarak
Three residents of Ashtarak marz - Gagik, Hrant and Lida Shaboyans - were hospitalized on Sunday after an alleged attempted murder.
According to the police, an unknown person attacked Gagik Shaboyan from behind when he was entering his home, and struck blows. When Shaboyan's brother Hrant Shaboyan hurried to help him with his daughter Lida Shaboyan, the unknown fired shots in their direction and took to flight.
A criminal case has been instituted at the Investigation Department of Aragatsontn Marz under Articles 34-104, and 235 of the Criminal Code.
An investigation is underway.
