The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA-MAGATE) has declared that Iran has started enriching uranium at one of the secret underground complexes in northern Fordo, Iran.

The Agency informs that Iran's nuclear weapon enrichment has reached 20%. Press secretary of the IAEA Gil Gyudor has also declared that all of Iran's nuclear elements are under the agency's supervision.

The official Tehran has confirmed the news about uranium enrichment, but has explained that it is being done for peaceful and humanitarian purposes.

According to Iran's official explanation, Iran is enriching uranium to get isotopes that are required for treating oncological diseases.

However, some Western experts claim that the 20% enrichment of uranium is the first step to receive military weapons.

BBC-s correspondent in Iran James Reynolds informs that, for a long time now, experts in atomic studies, political scientists and military officials have drawn their attention to the Fordo underground bunkers defending Iran's military forces.
