Local producer increases prices for dairy products
Marianna dairy producing company has raised product prices by 5 percent. Today, the company is selling its sour cream in medium sized bowl by AMD 220 against the former AMD 200.
"We simply do not manage to follow the price hike and fixed price," said Armen Poghosyan, President of the Consumers' Union NGO.
The company representatives told A1+ that the advance in prices is caused by the rise of the price of milk.
Armen Poghosyan says that only the Central Bank and the National Statistical Service can curb the inflation. He is angered by the indifference of these structures and does not confide in the quality and content of these products.
"It does not matter what kind of product it is - sour cream, meat or sugar - in addition to the normal price hike there is also hidden inflation," he said.
