Two CNN journalists were killed during a February 22 attack in Khoms, Syria.

British journalist Mary Colvin and French journalist Remi Ochlik had prepared reports on the opposition in the city and the unbreakable fighters.

In one of her last reports, Mary Colvin told about a boy who was killed in Khoms.

"During a live broadcast, one of CNN's reporters was asked why she was shooting such shocking scenes and why she was leaving Khoms, to which Mary replied:

"I am certain that we have to show them. This is the reality. There are thousands of people here. They have nowhere to hide and are helpless. Do you see this child? Children like him die every day. This will make people think about what is going on here. Why are the killings going on in Khoms? There are no military goals and programs. There is only an opposition that is compelled to arm itself with grenades, but it doesn't have a military base. When the Syrian government says its struggle is for the territories, that is an absolute lie. The Syrian authorities are bombing the city of people who are cold and hungry," said Mary Colvin.
