Line for those wishing to die
Euthanasia, that is, the mobile service for patients wishing to die, is serious in Holland due to the unprecedented increase in the number of patients wishing to die.
The service has already received 60 applications, but doesn't have enough brigades to implement euthanasia, reports Radio Liberty.
Currently, there are six brigades. The organization's director says if the number of applicants increases, the service will be forced to include more medical brigades.
The "doctors" carrying out euthanasia inject a dose of the fatal drug or give the patient the same dose of pills that easily kill the patient.
Holland passed a law on a patient's suicide with a doctor's help in 2002. The law is for those suffering from incurable diseases and go through excruciating pain.
The patient is obliged to express his or her desire to die in written form before death.
