Men inform that women have rights
On the occasion of International Women's Day, we remind once again that there shouldn't be violence against women. In light of this, members of the Center for Women's Rights had come out to the street.
They moved from the statue of Saryan and marched toward Northern Avenue, passing out flowers to ladies and women and flyers about the fight against violence.
Public relations correspondent of the Center for Women's Rights Diana Sargsyan told "A1+" that men had also joined their action.
"We attach great importance to that because women have always talked about women's rights, and this time we tried to make sure men inform women about them and encourage them," Diana Sargsyan said.
"By giving out flowers, I wish women get cut off from their daily routine and smile. We have to pay attention to women not only on holidays, but throughout the year as well. I have joined this action as a volunteer and am happy to be making a contribution to raising women's awareness," Arman Sargsyan said.
