Honey, butter, cheese, eggs, dried fruits, herbs, vegetables, jams and lavash-producers were selling all this today.

Women from provinces decided to present their works in Yerevan today.

The Armenian Young Women's Association and Oxfam Armenia Office implemented a program with the purpose of encouraging women's involvement in agriculture, and 10 women received the title of "Heroic Women".

"Women are not represented in this sphere to the extent that they deserve to be represented and their efforts are not encouraged. These women received their awards, taking into account the fact how active they have been and how much they have helped develop community life," President of the Armenian Young Women's Association Lilit Asatryan told "A1+", adding that the program would be ongoing.

Director of Grandmother Tamar Ltd Vera Grigoryan-Zakaryan, who also received the title "Heroic Woman", was very pleased to receive the award, but was also concerned that there were many obstacles for doing business in Armenia. She produces dried fruits.

"I sell my products abroad because there is a lack of responsibility in Armenia. The sellers take the products, but don't give me the money and tell me to come later. All the income that I am supposed to receive is spent," Vera said.

Her only dream is to have a small brand store.
