Ministry against pests
In 2012-14, the RA Ministry of Agriculture will protect 9,000 hectares of forests and 63,048 hectares of farming lands from pests.
This is mentioned in the plan of events for plant protection in 2012-14, which was approved by the RA Government on March 7. According to the plan, the damages caused to the above mentioned lands will be reduced by 80-85%.
The government will need to spend 150,000 drams for program implementation each year, reports EcoLur.
