Mashtots Park is receiving a better look. Despite the municipality employees' good intentions, the environmental activists didn't welcome their presence at the park.

The environmentalists highly suspect that the improvement is for maintaining the green areas of the park. They don't hide the fact that they don't believe any statement of the municipality and view this as an attempt to remove them from the park.

To stress that they are controlling the area, the environmentalists posted their signs, announcements and calls on the boxes of tiles placed throughout the park. They don't rule out that the placement of trade stands can restart at any moment and they continue to demand the demolition of the trade stands.

Parallel to this, police officers are also supervising the environmentalists, who have set prizes for, say, "The Boutique-loving Policeman", "Mister Policeman 2012" and more.

The police don't doubt that the trade stands will be demolished at Mashtots Park within the framework of the "Old Yerevan" Project within three years, but they are concerned that the government doesn't state what it plans to build in place of trade stands in its decision.
