Avalanche work did not affect train schedule
the avalanche work on Jajur-Maisyan site did not affect the train schedule of the South Caucasus Railways (SCR) CJSC. Currently, all local trains and international train Yerevan-Tbilisi-Yerevan run on schedule without any delays.
We remind that recently the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia has conducted avalanche work at the seventh kilometer of Jajur-Maisyan site. The potential danger of avalanches was neutralized through blasting (the thickness of snow was 1m, the dangerous area's length 35-40m).
