“Diversity Week” cancelled
The series of events called "Diversity Week" that kicked off with the "Diversity Parade" won't be held. This was the decision taken by the event organizers, including PINK Armenia and the Women's Resource Center NGOs after a joint discussion, head of "Public Information and Need of Knowledge" (PINK Armenia) NGO Mamikon Hovsepyan told www.hra.am. The events were cancelled for people's safety.
We remind that an opposing march was organized along with the "Diversity" march with signs and declarations against homosexuals and only through police intervention was it possible to prevent any violence.
