Armenian mountaineers to climb Mt. Elbrus
A team of Armenian mountaineers will attempt to climb Mt. Elbrus, the tallest summit in Europe at 5,642 meters.
The group includes Garegin Unusyan, Levon Movsesyan and Suren Petrosyan. Levon Movsesyan will join the group in Nalchik.
The team will begin their ascent on July 3-4.
Climbers from Armenia's Alpinism and Mountain Tourism Federation have already ascended Mt Kazbek (5,033 meters) and Mt. Demavend (5,671 meters).
