“The businessman should solve his problems himself”
Drivers of King Deluxe Company claim that they "get a bashing" because of the free buses of the Prosperous Armenia Charitable Foundation that are transporting people on the same routes.
The administration of King Deluxe declares that the charity is administered at their expense.
"This is nonsense! How can charity be directed against anyone? Do free eateries threaten restaurants and cafes? If someone cannot manage his business, it is his own problem," said Vahe Hovhannisyan, director of the Prosperous Armenia Charitable Foundation.
He added that the removal of the free buses has not been put under consideration so far.
Some 100 drivers from the cities of Abovyan and Charentsavan went on strike early in the morning, stating that the free buses of the charitable foundation hinder their work. They even threaten to close Sevan-Yerevan highway and disrupt the traffic.
