Car accident on Hrazdan-Hankavan road
On July 24 at 01:25 a car accident took place at the 30th km section on the Hrazdan-Hankavan road. There are injured parties and a need for rescuers.
The news service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that a rescue team from Kotayk region has left for the scene.
In circumstances that remain unknown, a Mercedes curved off the road and flipped over into the Marmarik River.
Before the rescuers arrived, citizen of Abovyan city, Hakob Dovlatyan (born in 1983), resident of Verin Ptghni village of Kotayk region, Zarik Torosyan (born in 1978) and citizen of Yerevan, Aghas Mkrtchyan (born in 1986) were transferred to Hrazdan Hospital with injuries of varying degrees.
Torosyan died on the way to the hospital.
Doctors say Dovlatyan is in heavy condition and Mkrtchyan is in critical but stable condition.
