School to be opened in Yerevan for Syrian Armenians
A school for Syrian-Armenian children will be opened in one of Yerevan schools on Oct. 9.
The official ceremony is set for 9.30 inside Nar Dos School. The school is opened at the initiative of Cilicia charitable organization and aims to support Syrian Armenian families who are currently residing in Armenia. With the move, the organizers intend to provide continuation of educational process for Syrian-Armenian children and help Syrian Armenian families escape difficulties, when they return to Syria.
The curriculum will correspond to the Syrian academic program, the teaching will be conducted in Arabic.
