A sturdy woman transporting goods in Gyumri's central food market with cart stands out against a background of market employees.
Almast Hakobyan, 43, lives in a wagon-house of one of her old acquaintances. She has three children. The state will not compensate the single mother for her apartment as she has not lost it in the result of the [1988] earthquake. It is not clear whether or not the family will have its own apartment.
Almast Hakobyan lives in the wagon-house without her children. They are living in a children's house in Yerevan, reports Gyumri-based Shirak Center NGO.
