Armenia wins four medals at International Astronomy Olympiad
Armenian high school students, who have won medals at the 17th International Astronomy Olympiad, are returning to Yerevan today.
Armenia won one gold, one silver and two bronze medals at the Olympiad held in South Korea on October 17 to 23.
Gevorg Martirosyan, a student of A. Shahinyan Physics-Math Special School, won a gold medal for Armenia. He was also awarded a special diploma for demonstrating the best results during the Olympiad.
Arsen Aslanyan, a high school student of the State Engineering University of Armenia (SEUA), won silver, and Vardges Mambreyan and Siranush Babakhanova, students of the physics-mathematical school, won bronze medals.
