Meat prices expected to rise in spring
Fertilizer will be given to villagers at AMD 6000. Village headmen should not charge more money from villagers, Hrach Berberyan, Chairman of Agrarian-Peasant Union of Armenia, said on January 30.
Villagers will not feel deficit of nitrogen fertilizer either; the country is expected to have about 30 thousand tons of nitrogen fertilizer.
With regard to the government's decision to allocate pastures in Syunik marz to Iran, Mr Berberyan said each country should use its pastures for its livestock.
It is believed that in spring the prices for meat will go up determined by the lack of forage.
