Offshore maze on Armenian scenario

Hetq presents new findings on the recent offshore scandal linked to the names of Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Primate of the Ararat Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Navasard Kjoyan and businessman Ashot Sukiasyan.

At the instruction of Dzoragyugh Production Cooperative belonging to the family of entrepreneur Ashot Sukiasyan $ 9 370 450 have been transferred from AmeriaBank loans to the accounts of several off-shore companies at the Hellenic Bank Publik Company of Cyprus.

The loan monies were transferred to:
1. A.B.S. GLOBAL LIMITED- $7,020,450
2. WLISPERA HOLDINGS LIMITED- $350,000
3. STR EMERALD LIMITED- $2,000,000

Who are the shareholders of these companies? A.B.S. GLOBAL LIMITED plays a key role among the aforesaid companies as it received the largest portion of the amounts. According to the website of the Department of the Registrar of Companies and Official Receiver of Cyprus the shareholders of A.B.S. GLOBAL LIMITED are four other companies, namely

1. A.K. HOLDINGS LIMITED - 1000 shares
2. BCB HOLDINGS LIMITED - 1000 shares
3. «STR EMERALD LIMITED» - 1400 shares
4. «WLISPERA HOLDINGS LIMITED» - 6600 shares
It becomes clear from the aforesaid that WLISPERA HOLDINGS LIMITED has almost 66 percent of shares in A.B.S. GLOBAL LIMITED. According to the website of the Department of the Registrar of Companies and Official Receiver of Cyprus, WLISPERA HOLDINGS LIMITED has three equal shareholders - Ashot Sukiasyan, Tigran Sargsyan and Samvel Kchoyan.
