Armenian startup recognized as the top 25 finalist in Sber500 International Seed Accelerator

ReEducate, a startup reshaping the educational landscape, has achieved significant recognition as one of the top 25 finalists in Sber500 international seed accelerator program. Founded by young Armenian entrepreneur Harut Gevorgyan, ReEducate is dedicated to making learning more interactive and accessible, merging traditional teaching methods with modern technologies to better meet students’ needs.

The Sber500 seed accelerator, organized by Sberbank, is one of the largest innovation programs in Russia, offering startups mentorship, market insights, and access to an extensive network of industry experts.

The program culminated in a high-profile Demo Day, where participants–startups from Russia, China, Turkey, Israel, and Armenia, and also AI companies from the GigaChat track pitched their solutions. 1,500 startups from 28 countries clashed to join Sber500’s fifth season. 150 teams completed a two-week online crash course, and only the 25 best joined the main seven-week race and reached Demo Day.

Gevorgyan pitched ReEducate to leading investors and top executives, setting the stage for potential investment and expansion opportunities.

“We are honored to be among the top 25 at Sber500. This experience was invaluable in refining our business model and understanding how to strategically approach the educational market,” Gevorgyan said. “We received insights that will help propel ReEducate forward as we expand, not just in Armenia but internationally.”

ReEducate brings together the power of gamification, AR/3D visualization, and AI technologies in a single platform, ensuring a truly personalized learning experience. The platform empowers students to engage with content in their preferred way — whether it’s interacting with 3D models, watching videos, or reading. This flexibility, combined with interactive quizzes and gamified elements, not only keeps students motivated but also adapts to their unique learning styles. The web studio for teachers enhances this process, allowing educators to create dynamic lessons that transform the online learning experience.

Over 7,000 students in Armenia are already using the platform, demonstrating high engagement and generating recurring revenue, with plans underway to expand into the Russian market.

Herman Gref, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board, Sberbank:

"We are doing our best to support the innovative environment in our country and enterprising people who believe that they can build world-class companies. In the past, the world's biggest companies used to join seed accelerators to raise initial investments for their ideas. This year, 30 out of 2,700 applications were selected for our accelerator, which means that only every 90th contestant made it to this stage–these are the best of the best. We believe that these guys will be able to build their own great companies. Just do not be afraid of difficulties and mistakes, which will always be there, because without them there will be no new inventions!”
