Court upholds lawyer's case against police
The Administrative Court of Armenia has upheld the lawsuit filed by lawyer Kromvel Grigoryan against the Traffic Police. The Court invalidated the decisions of Inspector Sergey Stepanyan (dated 27.06.2013) and Head of the Traffic Police Service (dated 04.10.2013). The Traffic Police is to pay AMD 4000 to the state budget. The Court concluded that by its June 2013 decision the Traffic Police imposed on Kromvel Grigoryan an administrative penalty in the amount of AMD 30 000 for violating Article 1244 (Part 2) of the Code of the Republic of Armenia “On administrative offences.”
