ARMENIAN SPORTSMEN IN TURIN

The 2006 Winter Olympic Games were over in Turin. Six Armenian sportsmen participated in them. As it was expected, they not only failed to win any medals, but also failed to avoid the last places.

LEVON ARONYAN BEAT THE LEADER OF THE TOURNAMNET

In the fifth round of the Linares Chess Super tournament Armenian Grand Master Levon Aronyan beat the leader of the tournament Peter Svidler. After this win Levon has 3 points and occupies the third place. Svidler who is currently in the second place has 3.5 points.

ARONYAN IN THE THIRD PLACE

After one-day recess Chess super tournament in Linares restarted. In the 4th tour Levon Aronyan played a draw with Spanish Francisco Valekho.
