Persons under 21 may be prohibited to enter casinos
The draft law on introducing amendments to the RA Law on Gambling Games and Casinos has been included in the agenda of the four-day sitting of the National Assembly. The decision was made by the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs. The authors of the bill are MPs Edmon Marukyan and Alexander Arzumanyan, who suggest fining casino owners in the amount of AMD 300 000 in case they allow citizens under 21 to enter their casinos. They say that citizens must be asked to produce their passports or ID before entering a casino. Part of the fine will go to the citizen’s family as compensation.
