The exhibition of New York photojournalist in Yerevan
On September 15 at 15:00 famous New York photojournalist Robert Karapetyan’s exhibition will be opened in Moscow Cinema. Until September 17 the photos of St. Hovhannes-Mkrtich Church in Abovyan city will be exhibited. Robert Karapetyan was born in Yerevan. He graduated from the Film Directing faculty of Yerevan Fine Arts and Theatre Institute. He was the student of such famous masters as Armen Gulakyan, Vavik Vardanyan, Vardan Achemyan. He worked at Armenian TV. Photography is the second profession of Robert Karapetyan. In 1956 for the first time his photos were published in Yerevan Avangard youth journal. He worked as a professional photojournalist in Yerekoyan Yerevan and Hayreniki Dzayn newspapers. In 1993 Robert Karapetyan moved to New York with his family. Now his articles and photos are periodically published in Armenian newspapers of Yerevan, New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Lebanon. Robert Karapetyan has had many personal photo exhibitions in Yerevan, New York and Los Angeles.
