Head of the State Food Safety Service sacked
Abraham Bakhchagulyan has been relieved of his duties as Head of the State Food Safety Service of the Ministry of Agriculture according to his upon his own request. Armine Sukiasyan, a spokesperson for the Service confirmed the information, saying she could not give any more details. In reply to A1+’s question whether the dismissal had any connection with the drawbacks found in the Service, she said, “I cannot say anything at this point.” The new head of the Service will be introduced to the staff later today, she said without giving any name.
