Aram Karapetyan: Thank God, we have not had civil wars in Armenia (video)

To the question if Armenia had National Unity Day, which day it would be –May 28, September 21 or some other day, Mr Abrahamyan said ‘we [Armenians] could not have National Unity Day like Russia,” where the holiday is marked on November 7 to commemorate the Revolution of 1917. “Russia is a county of revolutions where civil war took place. Thank God, we have not had civil wars in Armenia. We witnessed clashes like the one that took place on march 1, 2008 but it did not turn into a civil war,” he said adding that national unity days have some religious [like in Scotland] or social problems.
