Minister of Agriculture: 2014 was a year of achievements and success
Despite the weather surprises, the passing year was a year of achievements and success for farmers thanks to their hard and assiduous work, said the Minister of Agriculture of Armenia. “We are well aware of the problems existing in the agricultural sector and we know that they demand special care and daily attention. In order to alleviate the burden of farmers we will continue to provide state support and assistance to them,” said Sergo Karapetyan. “I am hopeful that Armenia’s membership to the Eurasian Economic Union will open new perspectives for the development of agriculture in our country. The large and spacious market of the EEU will create unlimited opportunities for our agricultural products and ensure stable income for our rural economies,” he said wishing representatives of the agricultural sector good health, happiness, optimism and prosperity. “May 2015 bring peace, stability and empowerment to Armenia and its people, as well as good harvest to our soils,” said Mr Karapetyan.
