Protest action with the demand to hand over Permyakov to the Armenian side (video)
A month after the cruel crime in Gyumri the only suspect in the case Valery Permyakov is still under the control of Russian law enforcement authorities. The only suspect in the murder of seven members of the Avetisyan family is Permyakov. Today a group of activists has held a protest action in front of the Prosecutor General’s Office. They have demanded from the RA Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan to hand over Permyakov to the Armenian side and to hold the preliminary investigation and investigation of the case in Armenia. People gathered near the Prosecutor General’s Office handed over a letter to Gevorg Kostanyan. While the activists demand to hand over Permyakov to Armenia, another activist in Gyumri Mnatsakan Aleksanyan, who took part in the protest actions in Gyumri, has been charged with hooliganism and violence against a government representative.
