From September 17-19 “Yerevan Jazz Fest 2015” international festival will be held in Yerevan. Armenian as well as foreign world-renowned jazz singers and bands will take part in the festival. Armenian Jazz Association has already been formed. According to the words of Vazgen Asatryan, founder of the association and member of the council, no international jazz festival has been held in Armenia since 2006. Vazgen Asatryan also notes, “This festival should enter international arena, the whole world must know about it, and we have decided to call it “Yerevan-Jazz” like Vienne-Jazz, Mongol-Jazz, Cannes-Jazz, Tbilisi-Jazz festival. That’s why this association has been created so that all the artists, all the jazzmen and singers are involved in it. Due to the work of “Mezzo Production” and Association President Kamo Movsesyan, French Mezzo TV channel will present and advertise “Yerevan-Jazz” festival, which is very important fact to us, it means we are entering international arena.” The concerts will be held in the small hall of Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex. From September 17-19 the tickets cost from 3000 AMD to 15000 AMD, and on September 18 only from 5000 AMD to 25000 AMD, as on that day US Richard Bona band gives concert. Details in the video
