Vahan Artsruni: The year was eventful (video)
On December 25, Armenian singer and songwriter Vahan Artsruni will perform his fifth concert this year. With the concert devoted to his 50th anniversary and 30th anniversary of professional activities, the songwriter will summarize the year. “The concert is organized by the Philharmonic Orchestra under the auspices of the First Lady. It will present the symphonic rock genre,” Mr Artsruni told media representatives today. He added that the cooperation with the Philharmonic Orchestra started in 2000. Summing up the passing year, the singer said the year was full of events. “Many events occurred in our country, and this yearend international turmoil must undoubtedly have its reflection. I am worried about the changes that await our country and our citizens. Of course, we are all concerned about the latest events but we have no right to weaken. The easiest thing is to sit idle and do nothing,” Vahan Artsruni said speaking about Armenia’s relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan.
