Strengthened control at all checkpoints of the RA
Starting from last year at “Zvartnots” airport and all the other border checkpoints of Armenia the Ministry of Health carries out strengthened control. Press secretary of the Ministry Anahit Haytayan told “A1+” about it. According to her words they have always carried out control, just connected with active spread of acute respiratory infections they are now more alert and attentive. “We have strengthened control still starting from November of last year at all the checkpoints, when H1N1 death case was registered in Iran,” noted Mrs. Haytayan and added that temperature of the people entering Armenia is checked with a special device, and if temperature is higher than usual, the person is immediately taken to sanitary room and relevant measures are taken.” Anahit Haytayan noted that there was such strengthened control also during Ebola epidemic.
