Doctor of “Shengavit” medical center detained
Shushanik Bakhshyan, doctor of Mari Margaryan- 26-year-old woman, who was transferred from Yerevan “Shengavit” medical center to “Erebuni” medical center and died after two days, was detained yesterday. Sona Truzyan, advisor to the President of the RA Investigative Committee, told “A1+” about it. To remind, relatives of Meri Margaryan blame Shushanik Bakhshyan, doctor of “Shengavit” medical center, for death of Meri Margaryan. According to Meri Margaryan’s brother, his sister had fever for four days, but the doctor refused to take her to hospital. Only on July 26 she was taken to hospital, but the next day her relatives were advised to transfer her to another hospital. She was taken to “Erebuni” medical center, where she delivered a baby through Caesarean section. Meri’s health condition was critical and she died on July 29. On July 30 the newborn also died.
