Ministry: Snow, blizzards and poor visibility on the roads
Snowfall was reported across Armenia as of 09:30. According to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, severe blizzards and low visibility have blocked Vardenyants mountain pass and Berd-Chambarak roadway and made Vanadzor-Alaverdi, Tsilkar-Aragats, Gyumri-Bavra, Fanta-Jraber, Zanger-Gorhayk roadways and Jajur mountain pass heavy-going. All roads of interstate and republican importance are open. The ministry says crews continue working around the clock to plow and treat roads and urges drivers to use only winter tyres.
