Founding Parliament group may changes its slogan (video)
In 2015, the radical opposition group Founding Parliament started a campaign against the ruling regime, under the slogan “100th Anniversary without the Regime.” The group openly announced that it was going to unseat the acting regime within a year, i.e. before April 24, 2016. Zhirayr Sefilyan, Head of the Founding Parliament movement, says considering the explosive situation in the country, changes can occur at any moment. “If the deadline passes we shall reconsider it. Everything can be reviewed and rescheduled. We can use new slogans and be guided by them but at present we are using that one,” he said. Mr Sefilyan says their primary objective is to get rid of the authorities as soon as possible: that is the desire of people. “We shall do everything to prevent the country from appearing in a chaotic situation. We are working in that direction every day,” he added. The FP member says they try to mobilize people to achieve that outbreak and will continue the struggle until they achieve changes.
